Intelligence for innovationIndoor Aviation Equipment Storage Center
To expand the scope of airline services within the airport, an indoor container warehouse was officially opened on September 3, 2018. It is the only one of the four warehouses in Taoyuan International Airport to be built as a large-scale indoor aviation equipment storage base, and is the pioneer in the industry to utilize Siemens semi-automatic electronic control equipment.
The entire indoor area can store 874 containers, with a total of four elevators, nine workstations to control the in- and out-flow of air cargo containers. Each elevator can transport on average 40 large containers or 80 small containers per hour.
The storage center is controlled by dedicated personnel to provide information on real-time equipment status and equipment inventory query. Safe storage can also extend the service life of aviation equipment.
The establishment of an indoor aviation equipment storage center will greatly improve the efficiency of the front and rear sections of the cargo terminal. -
Intelligence for innovationExport Cargo Tallying Canopy
To minimize damage of goods caused by rain at the export warehouse terminal when receiving goods, a rain-proof tallying canopy was added in the open space on the right side of the export warehouse in April 2019.
In addition to accommodating rear-end unloading of general trucks, it also caters to unloading on both sides of Gull-wing door trucks that are more popularly used in recent years.
The construction of the Export Cargo Tallying Canopy helps to provide high-quality cargo storage space, thereby increasing the efficiency of operation execution and creating a high-quality operational site. -
Intelligence for innovationLarge Pallet Goods Receiving and Sorting System
To reduce congestion in large-scale cargo handling during peak hour operations, a large-scale receiving and sorting system was constructed in February 2020. In addition, to effectively alleviating the problem of operation flow of the warehouse, it can also avoid the risks in manual operation of large pallets. The forklift picks up the pallet directly for sorting operation.
The system can handle on average 54+ large pallets per hour, and dedicated personnel can provide information on real-time storage status.
The Large Pallet Goods Receiving and Sorting System together with the Export Cargo Tallying Canopy, will greatly enhance the export receiving conditions and operation timeliness. -
Intelligence for innovationSelf-hauling Services
To speed up the haulage of import and export goods from delivery point to the cargo dismantling area of Taoyuan International Airport, a self-hauling service was officially launched in July 2019.
This service will be provided by Farglory by dedicated personnel. It is expected to help improve on the safety of cargo transportation and service quality, thereby enhancing efficiency in the customs clearance of import and export cargo.
The offering of self-hauling service will integrate warehousing and hauling into a one-stop service environment, thereby enabling high-quality air transportation warehousing. -
Intelligence for innovationBuilding of Shipment Team
To improve on the timeliness of the palletizing process, a "Shipment Team" was established in August 2018, consisting of professionally trained operators to perform the palletizing operations.
This will improve the timeliness of the palletizing process and better integrate with the shipping operation to reduce the occurrence of errors such as leakage and misprinting.
The Shipment Team will help to shorten the palletizing schedule for better time management, and improve the quality of our customer service.
