Corporate operations and governance

The Company has already established an effective governance structure and related ethical criteria. It reviews the effectiveness of its enforcement of corporate social responsibility from time to time and continues to improve its corporate governance by taking preventive and corrective actions.
(1) The Company has formulated its “Sustainable Development Best Practice Principles”; the Principles are posted on the Company’s website and Market Observation Post System. In addition, the Company defines five dimensions of its corporate culture; each of which has a goal set by its clients, employees, shareholders and the general public respectively, and related performances are periodically tracked and reviewed.

(2) To communicate the performances and goals according to our Corporate Philosophy, the Company regularly holds education and training courses; to enhance the effectiveness of the Company’s internal operations and governance, the reward and penalty mechanism is incorporated into the employee performance evaluation system.

(3) The Company has a dedicated CSR Department. The Department is responsible for proposing and implementing policies, related management guidelines and the specific promotion plan, and operating the management system of corporate social responsibility; it shall also regularly report the CSR performances to the board of directors.

(4) The Company has a reasonable compensation policy and a competitive salary & benefits system that fully links the Company’s overall operating profits with employee’s individual performance; employees who have excellent performance will be rewarded.
